angle. Flat back, with segmental head, curving forward to form horizontal panel
below. North side inscribed 'DERBY/17 MILES', South side inscribed 'CLAY CROSS/
1 MILE, CHESTERFIELD/6 MILES, DRONFIELD/12 MILES, SHEFFIELD/18 MILES'. Back
inscribed 'TOWNSHIP OF HIGHAM'. Raised panel on front inscribed 'J HAYWOOD JNR/
PHOENIX FOUNDRY/ DERBY'.
