Barn with shippon under. C18. Painted rubble to ground floor and cob over, wooden
lintels. Steep corrugated iron roof adjoining farm building left, and house right,
formerly thatched.
Rectangular plan with 5 wide doorways to the south-east side, the doorway at left
and right are wider and there are 1st floor openings over these and the middle
doorway. Two doorways partly blocked. Some old ledged doors.
Interior 5 roughly dressed ceiling beams survive and complete roof structure of 9
trusses with pegged lapped collars and halved pegged apices.
This long low building, presumably a grain or fodder store above and shippon below,
bears some resemblance in design to the open fronted linhays.
