3/31 Bath House, north west of Antony
House, in the Wilderness

GV II

Bath House. C18. Rendered, hipped slate roof with moulded eaves cornice and
stack with cap to front over pediment; lower wing in slatestone rubble with hipped
slate roof with ridge coping. Rectangular on plan with entrance on the left
hand side, this main part of the building is heated; the bath house is in a lower
wing behind. Single storey. The symmetrical 3-bay front has slightly advanced
centre bay with a moulded pediment and eaves cornice, the centre bay has a large
blind doorway and a blind window to left and right. The left hand end return
has a central round-headed doorway in a round-headed recess and a blind round-
headed window either side. The right hand end has a single round-headed recess
with a round-headed window with panelled shutters. The back of the main building
is slate hung. The bath house in the wing behind is stone rubble with a lower
hipped roof. Interior not inspected.
