School, c.1850, with left extension c.1877 and late C19 rear extensions.
Walls largely rebuilt, and refenestrated in late C20, under original roof.
Now a private dwelling. Chamfered brick and stone plinth. Rendered brick
with applied false timber studding. Brick stack; Welsh slate roofs. Single
storey, 3 bays. Late C20 door at left and late C20 casement windows. Right
end stack. Slightly-projecting gabled extension one storey and attic, one
bay, with late C20 casement windows. 3-bay left return. Hipped and gabled
single-storey rear extensions. Formerly known as Kirkleatham County Primary
School. Built as an estate school using the endowment income from the
suspended Sir William Turner Free School charity. Included for historic
interest.
