Pair of houses. Early C19 with alterations. Dressed sandstone with rubble
left return. Stone-flagged roof and stone chimney stacks. No. 1 occupies left
bay.

2 storeys, 3 wide bays with raised quoins. Replaced glazed door in projecting
surround between bays 1 and 2; partly-glazed 4-panel door in identical surround
between bays 2 and 3. Windows in projecting tooled surrounds, No. 1 has replaced
casements, No. 2 has replaced 2-pane sashes. Roof with coped gables and shaped
kneelers. Rebuilt left end stack; rubble right end stack with top band; stepped
and corniced ashlar ridge stack between Nos. 1 and 2.

Rear wing to No. 1 is not of special interest.
