School with attached master's house, now club and private dwelling. Early to mid
C19, altered. Coursed squared sandstone with granite quoins and dressings, slate
roof. H-plan. Tudor style. Single storey except School House in right wing, which
is 2-storeyed but only slightly higher; the 3-bay main range has a Tudor-arched
doorway next to the right wing (entrance to School House) and a 6-light
mullion-and-transom window flanked by cross windows, all with diamond leaded
glazing; the left wing has a similar but larger window and a lancet above; the
right wing has a weathered band, and a 2-light mullioned window on each floor.
Side-wall chimneys. Interior not inspected.
