Farmhouse. Mid-Late C17. Timber frame with brick and wattle and daub
infill. Asbestos sheeting to roof (formerly thatched). Two-cell,
baffle-entry plan. Entrance front: Stone plinth, 10 x 2 cells of
small framing with brick infill to lower row and cement-rendered
wattle and daub to upper row of cells. Eaves boxed-in with C20 soft
wood planking. Central ridge chimney-stack. C20 addition to left
with door. Right hand gable end: Stone and brick plinth. 4 x 3
cells of small framing with brick and wattle and daub infill. Queen
post with angle struts to gable and V-strut above this. Rear: Stone
and brick plinth. 11 x 2 cells of small framing with wattle and daub
infill. C20 addition to right. Boxed eaves as at front. All
fenestration is of C19 date.
