Chest tomb. Early C19. To Thomas Sampson who died in 1810 aged 56. Dressed granite chest, partly buried, with headstone with inscribed slate insert.
Square-on-plan with headstone to the middle of the west end with an inscription
facing east. The chest is made of squared granite monoliths joined by iron staples. The headstone is segmentally headed over square corners.
