GV II

House, early to mid C18. At one time used by the Bishop of Ely
as a lodging when visiting the parish. Local buff bricks;
hipped plain tile roofs with tall side stack to south-east. Two
storeys, attic and basement. Shallow L-plan with modern
extension to north-west. Original building of two 'bays'. Two
first floor and two ground floor tall casement windows in gauged
brick segmental arches. Sun fire insurance plaque. Interior
has an original closed string staircase with turned balusters
rising in short flights to the attic floor.
