2 houses. Late C18/early C19. Watershot stone with graduated
stone slate roof. Each house is single-depth, 2 rooms wide
and has 3 storeys. No. 199 (left) has a blocked door to the
right, a 3 and 4-light ground floor window, and 11-light
windows on the first and second floor. The door is now in
the gable which also has a blocked taking-in door. No. 203
(right) which slightly pre-dates the other has a central
door flanked by 2-light windows and 7 and 8-light first and
second floor windows. All windows have recessed flat-faced
stone mullions and king mullions. 3 ridge chimney stacks 2
of which are rendered. Small lean-to against rear.
