Cottage, possibly Cl7 but may have earlier origins. Whitewashed cob with
thatched roof hipped at right end. Axial brick stack. Built gable end to street
with gable entry. Single depth plan. 1½ storeys. 2 eyebrow dormers with
horizontal sliding sashes, 6 panes each sash over two 2-light timber casements,
both to left of horizontal sliding sash 6 panes each sash. C18 rainwater head on
east side. Originally formed part of hostelry complex with Cowlers (q.v.) and
Thatches (q.v.). Interior not inspected.
