House, now 2 houses. Late C18. Watershot squared rubble with
slate and graduated stone slate roof. Double-depth central-
staircase plan with 5 bays and 2 storeys. Projecting plinth
and eaves cornice. Central door with eared architrave,
pulvinated frieze and pediment. 4 ground floor and 5 first
floor windows all with raised square-cut surrounds and C20
casements replacing original sashes. Door inserted within
the second ground floor window as entrance to No.2. Gable
chimney stacks on 2-span roof. Recessed cavetto-moulded
mullion windows to rear.
