House. "IG 1740" (Greaves) on door lintel. Hammer-dressed
watershot stone in narrow courses with graduated stone slate
roof. 2-unit 2-storey house with a bay added to left in late
C18. Projecting plinth and quoins. Bay 1 (the addition) has
a 5-light ground floor and a 4-light first floor window both
with recessed cavetto-moulded stone mullions. Bays 2 and 3
have an inserted door which interupts the house-part window
leaving a 2, 3 and 3-light double-chamfered cavetto-moulded
mullion window on the ground floor with later window
inserted between the first 2. There is a similar 3-light
window (extended to 5 in late C18) and a C19 sash window on
the first floor. 2 ridge chimney stacks. 2 and 3-light gable
windows. Cambered chamfered beams to house-part ceiling.
