C18 house, two-storeys and attics with late C17 rear wing to west of one and a half-
storeys faced in C19 gault brick. C19 extensions in the angle of the two ranges. Red
brick, old plain tile roof with end stacks. Symmetrical first-floor range of three
large hung sash windows with glazing bars in moulded architraves. Trio flat-roofed,
canted, bay windows with hung sashes flank central, half-glazed door in moulded archi-
trave with segmental arched head. Modern flat canopy on scroll brackets.
Interior: very fine closed-string staircase of six flights and two landings with turned
balusters and pendant ball finials to newels. Moulded ceiling beads and cornices.
