Laithe house, late C18th. Slobbered rubble with modern tile roof.
2 storeys. Main part of house, to right, of 2 bays. Windows have
glazing bars, either fixed or casements, and have plain stone surrounds.
Windows to right-hand bay tripartite, stepped, with square- mullions.
To the left the building projects forwards under a continuous roof.
The right-hand part of this section forms part of the house, with a window
with plain reveals and glazing bars in the front wall. The right-hand
return wall has the front door, with plain reveals, and a small
window with plain reveals above. Adjoining to the left, and of a continuous
build, is a barn with wide entrance with plain reveals and segmental
head. To the left is a door with plain reveals. Further left is a
second wide entrance with flat lintel and with a pitching hole over.
