Cottage. Probably C18; 1985 service outshot. Plastered cob on rubble footings;
probably cob stack with plastered brick chimney shaft; thatch roof, corrugated iron
to service outshot.
Small 2-room plan cottage facing south. The larger right (eastern) room has
projecting end stack and service end outshot on that end. Main cottage is 2
storeys.
Nearly symmetrical front has 2 ground floor and 1 central first floor casements, all
C20 with glazing bars. Central C20 door and monopitch, plank-roofed porch. Roof is
half-hipped to right and hipped to left. Single storey extension has monopitch roof
and two C20 front casements.
Interior has plain carpentry detail. The main room has a neatly soffit-chamfered
axial beam without stops and similar finish to oak lintel of large stone rubble
fireplace. Roof not inspected.
