Cottage. Late C16 with late C17 alterations and early C18 addition; C20
renovation and addition. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof. Red
brick ridge stack and end stack to east. One storey and attic, possibly
originally single storeyed (some evidence of smoke blackening), with three
unit plan extended by one bay to east gable. C20 closed porched entrance,
four windows with glazing bars of various sizes. Interior: Exposed
timber-frame and floor frames. Open hearths; two back to back, with one with
pair of niches and open hearth to east room. C19 fixed bench beside hearth to
west room.
