Church house, converted later to 4 almshouses, now single dwelling. C17. Plaque on
stack records 1895 restoration, further alterations C1980. Random rubble stone,
whitewashed rendered upper storey. Slate roof. Tall rubble lateral stack at centre
of front, stack at right gable end with drip, and truncated stacks at rear left end
and at left gable end. Probably originally 3 cell cross-passage plan, built into
bank of churchyard, later divided into 4 dwellings, 2 to each storey with first
floor entry at right gable end (now converted to bathroom) and by stone flight of
steps now removed to left of front lateral stack. 2-storeys 3-window range of 2-
light casements. Similar casements below C20 door to cross-passage and 4-panes
casement above. Scattered fenestration to rear with ground floor blocked opening to
right side.
Interior: 3 trusses of straight principals with 2 tiers of trenched purlins.
Internal partitions altered. Chamfered beams and fireplace lintel to principal
bedroom. Bread oven to first floor fireplace
