House. Early C19. First floor and bows roughcast the render has been stripped from
the ground floor exposing local grey limestone rubble; slate roof gabled at ends; end
stacks to front and rear of ridge.
Double depth 4 room plan probably with a central passage and 2 principal front rooms.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-bay front with 3 steps up to 6-panel front door in deep
panelled reveals with moulded pilasters on the front. 2 storey flanking bows with 16-
pane sashes. The house accommodation includes a room above the passage to the right
between no. 42 and no. 43.
