Cottage. Probably C18 or early C19. Roughcast rendered probably stone
rubble. Thatched roof with gabled ends abutting adjoining houses. Stack at
right hand end with rendered shaft heightened in red brick.
Plan: Originally probably a 2-room plan with central entrance, the larger
right hand room heated from a gable end stack, with smaller left hand room
might have been unheated originally.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window south front small late C19 or
C20 2-light casements with glazing bars and slate sills. Doorway to left of
centre with divided plank door and canopy made from large piece of slate on
timber cantilevers. Rear elevation not inspected.
Including front garden area wall, probably C19 local slate rubble with slate
capping, raised at centre to form piers on either side of gateway with C20
gate.
