SK 98 NE NORMANBY BY SPITAL FRONT STREET

5/27 Beehive Farmhouse

II

House. 1797; with minor C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed
limestone rubble, cement rendered gable end, brick dressings,
pantile roof and 2 gable stacks. 3 bay 2 storey front with
central C20 door covered by C19 rustic porch, flanked by single
plain sashes. Above the door is a semi-circular stone inscribed
"NTM 1797" in a brick surround, flanked by 2 further plain
sashes. The windows have brick segmental heads. To the right is
a later lean-to 2 storey extension.
