Probably C17, 2 storey 1 window kiln cottage, thatched. Stone limewashed.
Spiral stone stair in half round projection at north west corner. Casements.
Wide entrance door. Interior: hewn joists and roof timbers. (Modern addition
north). Small C17 outbuilding at rear west. Remains of kiln with twin
"bee-hive" chambers open on north side, formed of narrow stonework. Landscape
value, and industrial archaeological interest.
