Lodge. Central plastered gable with raised lettering:- "GO EAST GO WEST HOME'S THE
BEST FH CH AD 1900", by architect Percy Fielding for Christine Hamlyn. Brick walls,
hipped plain-tiled roof, 3 brick stacks, 2 very prominent.
Plan: T-shaped with service wing at right-angles to the rear, entrance to right
side of a protecting central bay window with canted sides on the front. Vernacular
style incorporating Tudor and Jacobean style motifs.
Exterior: single storey, central canted 7-light bay window with square-paned leaded
lights, cornice on consoles over, above a front-facing gable with lettering, similar
2-light casement to the right of the frontage, modillion eaves cornice on front.
Door opening on left side of front-facing wing, half-glazed door, porch with arcade
of 4 arches forming an open loggia with a wooden balustrade. Canted bay window on
left return.
Interior: not seen.
