Main front elevation of the range. The main chimney stack is the two flue one to the left, which would have served fireplaces to rooms either side of the baffle entrance. The end gable stack heated the far end of the range, while the other single stack probably heated the room in between. The gambrel, or Mansard, roof was probably added c.1816.
