Timber-framed barn of circa 1600 of 3 bays with centre porch. Queen post roof with
clasped purlins, formerly covered with thatch. Windbraces. The barn forms part of a
farm group also comprising Nuthanger Farmhouse, a granary on staddle stones 15 yds
south of Nuthanger Farmhoue and a barn 20 yds south-est of Nuthanger Farmhouse; the
buildings at Nuthanger Farm feature in the later C20 novel, Watership Down.
