Farmhouse. Probably C17 with C18 and later alterations. Timber-frame with
brick and plaster infill, sandstone rubble and brick, partly roughcast. Tiled
roofs and sandstone rubble and brick stacks. T-plan with cross-wing at west
end and southern projection at east end. One and two storeys and attic.
South elevation has 2:1:1 windows with a gable to each side. Central window
is a 4-light leaded casement in a gabled dormer, probably early C20. Entry
to right of left-hand gable. Frame of cross-wing is four panels high from
cill to wall-plate. Interior inaccessible at time of re-survey (November 1986).
