5/46 Barn about 15 yards
north-west of the
Church of St Peter and
St Paul

Barn. Mid-C18 with mid-C19 alterations. Part brick, part timber-framed
with some weatherboarding and some wattle infill; plain tiled roof. Seven
bays aligned east/west; wagon bay with opposed double doors situated
second from east end; adjacent bays have header ventilation courses.
Main south elevation: four westernmost bays have a rectangular opening and
three doors. Interior: eastern end has two rows of square panels and south
elevation has rectangular panels to upper part of wall; collar and tie-beam
trusses with raking struts and a single tier of trenched purlins. Western
part is floored. There is a brick and rubble lean-to addition at the west
