north-west of
Ashley Moor Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C17, with some late C19 repairs. Timber-frame with woven infill and
weatherboarding under a corrugated iron roof. Three framed bays aligned
north-east/south-west, with a central threshing floor. Full-height double
doors to threshing floor. Framing is three square panels high with passing
straight tension braces. The intermediate trusses each have raking struts,
gable-end trusses have two struts to collar and V-struts in the apex.
