about 50 metres west of
Old Court

Barn, cowhouse and hay loft. C18 and early C19. Timber-frame, weatherboarded,
on rubble plinth, pantile roof with stone slates at eaves; and corrugated iron
roof. Aligned east-west, barn to west end of 5 framed bays with central thresh-
ing floor, cowhouse to east of 6 framed bays, hay loft over cowhouse. Barn:
trusses to threshing bay have 4 raking struts, with long tension braces below
tie-beam; other trusses are king posts with raking struts rising from their
bases. Walls are single rectangular panels. Cowhouse: ground floor of rubble
with 2 slatted windows to left flanking entrance; to right 2 half-glazed
windows. Upper floor is partially weatherboarded, part open for use as
hay loft; trusses have queen struts to collar; right (east) gable is rubble.
