Gatelodge and wash-house. c.1870. Rock cut (rusticated) ironstone ashlar with limestone ashlar quoins and dressings. Decorative plain tiled roof with ornate ridge tiles and wrought iron finials. Central ashlar ridge chimney stack with 3 tall shafts, a central one
diamond set flanked by circular ones. Carved openwork bargeboards. All windows have chamfered mullions and hood moulds. A single storey wash house is attached to the right.
