Two-storey shippon and attached barn or linhay. C18 or earlier. Rubble and
cob, corrugated iron roofs. Shippon has steep hipped roof over 6 wide rough
stone piers; return wall has flight of 7 concrete steps to loading plank door.
Back has upper wall in cob. Upper half of 5 open bays with rough wood beams to
floor, and bay. A-frame roof with cambered collars and series of close-set
purlins or thatching spars. Return arm has gabled alter end to corrugated iron
doors, and corrugated sheathing to timber framed wall to west. This seems to
be the earliest unit of the important group here.
