Barn and horse engine house. Probably C18. English bond brick, the bricks slightly
larger than those of the house; corrugated iron roof, hipped at ends.
Rectangular on plan with a round weatherboarded horse engine house with a tall peaked
corrugated iron roof.
Exterior: Single storey. The west elevation has 2 tall round-headed blocked
doorways, converted to windows ; 2 similar doorways on the east elevation.
Interior: Pegged roof trusses of an C18 character.
Group value with Brickhouse.
Swete's watercolour entitled "Brickhouse from the meadow" (1796) shows the end of a
building which is probably this barn.
