Mid C19. Rendered. Four storeys, two window houses with Tudor Gothic detail. Two light mullion and transom windows with hoodmould, ground floor bays with castellated parapets. Tudor doorways. Six of the houses have steeply pitched gables, slate roofs. No 36 is a two and three storey block facing Richmond Road.

No 36 Richmond Road and 1 to 10 (consec) Bystock Terrace form a group.
