SX 69 NE SOUTH TAWTON

1/159 Garden House approximately
30 metres north-east of
North Wyke
GV II


Garden house, former malthouse. Probably C18. Flemish bond brick; slate roof.
Plan and description: small 2-storey 1-room plan gable-ended block. The south-
facing front has a tall ground floor doorway containing a C20 plank door and C20
casement with glazing bars. Interior not inspected.
This former malthouse has been included in the 1904 scheme of terraced gardens
associated with the renovation of North Wyke (q.v.).
