Gate piers, quadrant walls, and pier responds. c1840. Gate piers in rusticated
stone, walls coursed and squared drystone, responds plain ashlar. Piers c600 mm
square and 2 m high including moulded cappings with urns, responds c600 mm square and
175 m high including moulded cappings with square domed weathered tops, quadrant wals
with flat weathered coping. Modern wood field gate. Total width overall outer
responds c10.5 m.

These appear to be the piers as built for the house originally; remains of the stone
responds for gates survive.
