II

Detached house. Late C18 with slightly later addition. Ashlar
limestone; ashlar and artificial stone rebuilt chimneys; concrete
tile roof. Two-storey with attic. Front: original part to right
with 2-window chamfered mullioned casement fenestration, 3-light to
ground floor, 2-light above. Central doorway with glazed double
doors flanked by 2 narrow buttresses which support at mid-height
doorway pediment on brackets. Addition to left also has narrow
buttress. Single-window fenestration to this part: 2-light ground
floor casement with similar above, originally 4-light but 2-lights
blocked. Doorway with 4-panel door to right. Moulded eaves. Two
ridge-mounted chimneys. Interior not inspected, but ashlar said to
be carried through to inner face.
