13/97 Gateway approximately 100m
north east of Skaiteshill House

II

Coach and pedestrian gateway. Early C19. Ashlar limestone piers
with iron gates. Three piers with round arched recessed panels to
front faces and high moulded plinth. Moulded top with cross-gabled
weathered coping and supporting corner brackets. Contemporary
gates with railed lower half, rails having decorative spear tops.
Diagonal bracing and top corner scrolls.
