Parry monument in the churchyard,
about 8m east of south-east corner
of chancel, Church of the Holy
Innocents
GV II
Coped tomb. Henry Parry, died 1860, by H. Woodyer. Stone,
slightly tapered to foot. Coped top, tall, floriate cross on
ridge, 4-step base, roll moulding to edge of top: trefoil canopy
over head of cross, with carved spandrels, crocketed finials each
side and leaf finial centre. Top set on larger coped section,
lettering on south side slope; chamfered top to plinth below, all
on stone paving at ground level. Commemorates brother of Thomas
Gambier-Parry.
