Pair of houses. C18. Part limestone ashlar and part cut and coursed lime-
stone, stone slate roof. Simple row of buildings with some lean-to and
extension at back. One and a half storeys, 5-windowed: 3+2 gable dormers,
all with 2-light metal casements, over 3:2:2:2:3-light casements with lead-
ing. Far left late C20 glazed door, and near right-hand end another C20
glazed door. Although much modified, the steep roof pitch suggests an early
date, and these cottages form a group with the mill (q.v.), Old Smith's
Cottage (q.v.) and Woodman's Cottage (q,v.) opposite on part of the Sudeley
Castle Estate.
