Farmhouse. Early and mid C18, extended first half C19. Flemish-
bond brickwork, tiled roof. 'L' plan, each wing 2 bays, one 2
storeys, one 2 1/2. Entrance set back in angle: 4-panel door, upper
fielded, lower flush; flat porch head, lead cover. three-light
mullion and transom window, iron opening light, cambered brick
arch. Above two 3-light mullion and transom windows, leaded
lights, no lintels, dentil eaves. Chimney on ridge to right of
centre. Vertical joint to wing on left: 2-light casement on right
of wing, no lintel; vertical joint, 3-light casement with cambered
brick arch. First floor similar, dentil eaves; chimney on ridge
between windows. To front of left end brick mounting block, 3
stone steps, stone top.
Interior: Wide fireplace, timber surround, beaded edge, moulded
mantel-shelf, gun rack over. Wide chamfer ceiling beam, right end
of left wing; 2-panel door, fielded panels.
