Gate Pier and wall 115 metres west of Hunstanton Hall

Gate pier and wall. Late C17, remains of formal garden laid out after his marriage in 1686 by Sir Nicholas Le Strange, 4th Bt. Red brick with stone dressings, classical style rectangular on plan gate pier. South rebate stone console bracket. Stone moulded plinth above, supporting bracket to roundel. Garden wall to north faced with brick on east towards Hunstanton Hall, on west squared coursed carstone, triangular coping. Returned at north west, then demolished beyond.
