Large barn, converted to house, on former farm site now occupied by
housing. Probably late C18. Rubble stone with alternating flush
quoins, stone slate roof, inserted stone stack at left end. Very
large gabled projecting wing to west with former cart entry with
timber lintel now glazed in and with projecting hipped canopy on
struts. Former low level opposed flush entry with canopy.
Inserted scattered fenestration, mainly single lights, with slit
vents remaining on either side of gabled wing. Door on right hand
return. Although converted, the building retains its form,
materials, and original scale of openings.
