Detached House wrongly shown on 6 inch O.S. map as Guiting Villa.
Early C19. Ashlar limestone and coursed squared and dressed
limestone, concrete tile roof on main body, slate roof on
extension, ashlar stacks. Square plan with portico across facade
and projecting forwards on right, rectangular extension set back on
right. Garden front: 2 storeys, 3-windowed; 3-light metal
casements to first floor with glazing bars within pointed arched
openings with curving glazing bars towards apex. 3 glazed doors
with glazing bars at margins in pointed arched surrounds to ground
floor opening onto portico with lean-to roof supported on
quatrefoil shaped piers. Extension left: single storey, 2-
windowed; C20 twelve-pane sashes within pointed arched surrounds
with curving glazing bars towards apex. Pyramidal roof to main body
with octagonal lantern with ogee shaped leaded top and weather
vane.
