Former dovecote and outbuilding, now cottage. Probably C17 but much modified
C19 and C20. Squared and coursed limestone over rubble plinth, stone slate
roof. A 2-storeyed cross-gabled dovecote with 1½-storey extension. Dovecote,
has 3-light stone-mullioned casements to stopped hoods below an oval oculus in
square setting; south and east gables have pigeon ledges and blocked openings.
Extension has 2 dormers above 2-light casements with leading, and lean-to
porch. Included primarily for group value with the Sheephouse (qv), for which
it was originally built.
