Farmhouse, now private residence. 1715, dated over door with initials WCW; much
restored. Coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone with ashlar dressings and porch
front; coursed pecked sandstone barn. Pantiled roofs with stone copings and
kneelers, stone stacks, some rendered. House 2 storeys, 5 bays. Added central
gabled porch with 4-panel door. 2-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows, with
C20 small-paned casements, throughout. Coved eaves to porch and house. Left
corniced 2-shaft chimney, right rendered end chimney. Small C20 attic window in
left return; 2-light chamfered window on right return. Rear lean-to dairy
extension and small barn beyond. Rear elevation shows an inserted glazed door
and several small chamfered windows of 1 or 2 lights, including 2-light stair
and cellar windows. Interior not inspected. Small front extension is not of
special interest.
