House, sometime 2 houses, now one house. Early C19 brick front to older
building probably C17. Plum brick in Flemish-bond. Rear wing tilehung.
Steep old red tile roof. A long 2-storeys house facing N with 1-storeys
gabled rear wing. N front has 4 windows to 1st floor. Flush casement
windows of 1:2:2:1 lights. Near symmetrical arrangement with central
plank door up 2 steps under lean-to tiled hood. A 2-light casement
window to each side, one further to E, and plank side-door at W end.
Part of Crown Insurance plaque on front wall. Rear slope of roof runs
down to 1½-storeys height with gabled dormer. Included for group value.
