Upper Wood Farmhouse along track 600m from road

House. C16, brick front C19 but retaining jetty. Timber frame on
chamfered brick sill, exposed on 1st floor at rear, red brick cased
front with attached timbers as pseudo framing, steep old red tile roof.
A 2-storeys, 4 structural bays long, side jettied house with lateral
rear chimneys, facing E. Front has 4 windows to 1st floor and 3 to
ground floor with door in small brick projection in 2nd bay from N. C19
flush 3-light casement windows. Exposed framing at rear with close-
studding and a blocked 3-light mullioned window. 2 original very large
red brick projecting chimney stacks to rear of 1st and 2nd bay from S.
