Hic iacent Rogerus Harper quonda Mercator istius ville et Johanna uxor eius qui q'de Rogerus obijt xxij o die mensis Augusti Et dicta Johanna obijt eodem die ad mensis p'cedente Anno dni Millimo CCCC o lxxxxiij. Quorum aiabus ppiciet' deus Amen

Translated as 'Here lie Roger Harper, formerly a merchant of this town, and Joan, his wife, which same Roger died the 22nd day of the month of August. And the said Joan died on the same day of the preceding month in the year of our Lord 1493. On whose souls may God have mercy. Amen'.
