Gates, gate piers and flanking walls. Probably erected c1872
from castings left over from gates made for Hatfield House before
1846. Each gate is divided vertically into four similar panels
of scrolled and interlaced foliage ornament. Scrolled overthrow
with fluted stems and central honeysuckle motif. Late C19
flanking piers in rubbed brick with panelled sides. Segmental
wall pieces each side with trellised brickwork to their upper
halves. Wooden gate on left. (Pevsner (1977) ).
