Circa l800. 3 storey building of red brick, with a parapet masking the
roof. 4 windows in shallow reveals. Ground floor of No 27 has excellent
shop-front treatment of a large broad window with curving corners sandwiching
a central door, a broad frieze available for lettering binding the whole
from beneath a very shallow hood. Immediately below the top window of
No 27 runs a large broad label bearing in raised letters 'PRINTING OFFICE'.
No 28 has a simple canted bay window with a alight moulded hood and a
door of six fielded panels below a simple fanlight and hood. The shop
front treatment of No 27 together with the adjacent doorway of No 28 is
punctuated at intervals with a series of slender reeded panels terminated
with smell roundels.

Nos 13 to 34 (consec) form a group.
